What the community is for
The Pokémon TCG Canada Discord exists for Canadian Pokémon TCG collectors to connect and share knowledge. The focus is on the Canadian market specifically — retail availability, Canadian release timing, cross-border considerations, and local communities.
Members discuss current and upcoming Pokémon TCG product releases, share product page links they've noticed at Canadian retailers, and help each other understand what to look for when making purchase decisions. This is a discussion community — not a bot service, price tracker, or automated purchasing tool.
What happens in the community
Product page sharing
When members notice a product page appear at a Canadian retailer, they share the link in the relevant channel. Other members can then review the page and make their own decision.
Retailer and order discussion
Members discuss experiences with Canadian retailers — Amazon.ca, Pokémon Center Canada, GameStop, Walmart, and others — including shipping notes and order experiences.
Community expectations
The Pokémon TCG Canada Discord is a discussion community, not an automated service. Members are expected to:
- Review any shared product page link directly before making a purchase decision
- Verify the seller, shipping, and pricing on the retailer's website before ordering
- Treat other members respectfully — the community includes collectors at all experience levels
- Not share misleading product information, fake in-stock claims, or third-party resale links presented as retail
We do not run automated purchasing systems, scrapers, or price-tracking services. Community members share product pages they notice manually. Always verify any shared link at the retailer directly before making a buying decision.
Using Discord roles and notifications
The Pokémon TCG Canada Discord uses roles to help members opt into relevant notification channels. A member who is following Mega Evolution products, for example, can opt into the relevant role to receive notifications when other members post in that channel.
These notifications come from other community members, not from automated systems. When you receive a notification, it means another collector has shared something they noticed — not that a product is guaranteed to be available. Always check the retailer's product page yourself before making any purchase decision.
